Karan Johar recently shared a behind-the-scenes video from his highly-anticipated venture Gehraiyaan. The latest video features the cast and crew of the upcoming film including Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa and Shakun Batra. The lead actors were seen talking about their character and their complexities in the film.
The subtle montage begins with Deepika, where the actress can be seen revealing her thoughts about her character Alisha in Gehraiyaan. "I think it's okay sometimes if you wake up with a purpose and wanting to just live a better life," said the Padmavat actress. She further added, "To play Alisha, she's someone who is conflicted a little bit with her past, conflicted with the relationship that she is surrounded by at the moment, and then the choices that she makes."
Talking about Zain, Siddhant mentioned that his character is clever and sharp. He further added that Zain is like a fox, who knows his power and his ambitions.
Meanwhile, Dhairya also spoke about his role in the film and mentioned that a person like his character Karan is a boy next door, who is there in every friend circle.
Moving on, Ananya opined that her character Tia is quite similar to her in real life and very positive. "There's a very very strong backstory for every character in this film," Ananya revealed about all the protagonists in Gehraiyaan.
The actors spoke a little more about their character, story among other important aspects.
Karan, who is producing the relationship drama film took the latest clip on Instagram and shared it with a caption that reads, "So many layers to each of them - Alisha, Zain, Tia & Karan. Get ready to unravel them all with world premiere of #GehraiyaanOnPrime on Feb 11. (sic)."
