Gehraiyaan gets new release date: Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi announce with new posters

The Amazon Original Movie also features Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in pivotal roles.

The makers of Gehraiyaan unveiled a new release date along with a few posters of the film. The upcoming relationship drama movie stars Deepika Padukone, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhairya Karwa in lead roles. 

The set of posters that were shared by actors and the makers of the film features each of the characters experiencing vulnerability. However, in one of the images, Deepika and Siddhant can be seen kissing each other, while in another both of them can be seen romantically looking at each other.

The Gully Boy actor took the new posters on Instagram and shared it by mentioning a few lines from the Gehraiyaan title track in the caption. The latest post reads, “Tu marz hai dawa bhi, par aadat hai hamein, Roka hai khud ko lekin, hum reh na sake… #GehraiyaanOnPrime releasing Feb 11 (sic).”

The Padmavat actress shared the posters on Instagram as a gift to her fans on her birthday today. She also unveiled the new release date in the caption.

Talking about his forthcoming directorial, Shakun Batra said in a recent statement that it is not just a movie for him but a journey into the intricacies of human relationships. He further added that Gehraiyaan is a mirror into modern adult relationships, how people traverse through the maze of feelings and emotions and how each step, each decision they make affects everyone’s lives and their own as well.

Gehraiyaan, which also has Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur in significant characters, is now slated to release on February 11 on Amazon Prime Video
