Team Gehraiyaan has released their new promo video featuring Karan, partner of Deepika Padukone’s Alisha. Featuring Dhairya Karwa, the character seems to be calm yet intense.
“We don’t all choose to run the race. Meet Karan,” the actor captioned the video on his social media handles. Gehraiyaan fans could be seen cheering in the comment session. The much awaited Amazon Prime Original will premiere on February 11, 2022.

A video featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Zain and Deepika’s Alisha in their intimate moments has been dropped hours ago, which looks so promising. Meanwhile, Ananya Panday, who plays Alisha’s cousin Tia in the movie, has also dropped a glimpse of her character, hailing it as ‘a piece of her heart.’
Gehraiyaan has been receiving much attention and love due to the rawness in its storyline. Though makers had hinted earlier that the movie would be dealing with complexities of relationships, it was after the trailer that the audience got a grip on it.
The trailer features Alisha, Tia, Zain and Karan played by Deepika, Ananya, Siddhant and Dhairya respectively. Alisha and Tia are cousins and eventually the former develops a complex relationship with the latter’s fiance Zain. The trailer looks so raw and promising altogether, as the couple could be seen struggling in dealing with the chaos in their relationships.
Director Shakun Batra has recently spoken to Scroll about how his movie is trying to address the complications in a simple way. In response to people’s claims accusing the film of ‘glorifying’ infidelity, he said that the movie does not take a stance for or against monogamy. He also affirmed that his movie does not form any opinions, rather it just follows the four characters and leaves it up to the audience.
