Unni Mukundan’s next comedy drama titled Get-Set Baby! has officially gone on floors. The actor was recently clicked at the puja ceremony of the film. The Malikappuram star posted the photos from the function which was held at Chottanikkara temple. The movie will see the Malayalam actor as an IVF specialist, a completely new role for him. Helmed by Vinay Govind, the film will also feature Nikhila Vimal in the female lead.
The actor took to his social media handles to share the pictures of the puja ceremony and said, “Get Set, Baby! Thank you, everyone! #SkandaCinema #KingsmenProduction #Rolling.” (sic)
About Get-Set Baby!
Get-Set Baby! is a dramedy which is set to explore the life of an IVF specialist, the challenges he faces, and how he solves them, told in a light-hearted way. Nikhila Vimal, who plays the female lead, portrays a character who is ambitious and vulnerable.
Set against the theme of a socially relevant subject, the film unfolds in humour and engages you emotionally. Talking about the film, Unni mentioned in an interview earlier that he enjoys collaborating in films that are “socially relevant yet entertaining”. Cast and crew behind Get-Set Baby!
Sajiv Soman, Suunil Jaiin, Prakshali Jain and Sam George are financing the project under the banner of Skanda Cinemas & Kingsmen LLP. YV Rajesh and Anoop Ravindran have penned the screenplay for this dramedy. Acclaimed editor-director Mahesh Narayanan will be handling the editing of the film, and Alex J Pulickal will handle the cinematography department. Sam CS is set to score the music for the movie. Sunil K George is the production designer, and Sameera Saneesh will head the costume department of this entertainer. Promotion consultant is Vipin Kumar.
