Ghaati out on OTT: Anushka Shetty's gritty Telugu actioner begins streaming here

Ghaati, the recently released Telugu action drama, is now available for streaming. The film fronted by actor Anushka Shetty, has found its OTT home with Prime Video, and can be watched in multiple audio languages.

The 2025 Telugu actioner Ghaati is out on OTT. Prime Video, which has bagged the streaming rights, has the option for audience to watch it in multiple languages. OTTplay Premium subscribers can watch the film with their existing plans by topping up with Prime Video.

Ghaati is an action drama, which is gritty and packed with blood-shed. The film features Baahubali and Arundhati fame actor Anushka Shetty in the lead role, along with Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu in a prominent character. Ghaati is available in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages with subtitles.

Directed by filmmaker Krish Jagarlamudi, Ghaati tells the tale of people from the oppressed community whi are made to indulge into anti-social activities for the benefit of those in power. In Anushka Shetty's Ghaati, the film focusses on a woman called Sheelavathi, from the oppressed community, who rises to become a powerful authority and seeks revenge. The film is set against the backdrop of the Eastern Ghats on the Andhra–Odisha border.

Besides Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, the cast also includes Chaitanya Rao Madadi, and Ravindra Vijay in key roles. With Chintakindi Srinivas Rao penning the script, and music by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar, the film is shot by Manojh Reddy Katasani and edited by Chanakya Reddy Toorupu. Ghaati had an average run at the box office and managed to earn only Rs 7 crore. 

Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty, who is not a signing spree, will soon be making her Malayalam debut with Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer. Co-starring Jayasuriya, the film will have the Baahubali actor play the role of Nila and is rooted in Kerala's folklore stories. A release date is yet to be announced.
