Upcoming Telugu movie Ghani is a sports drama written and helmed by debutant Kiran Korrapati and produced by Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby under the banner of Geetha Arts. The film was earlier scheduled for a release on July 30 but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the release has been postponed to November.
The movie’s title was unveiled in January this year. Superstar Prince Varun Tej will be seen in the role of a boxer in this upcoming sports drama titled Ghani. Ever since the poster of the movie was released too, the surreal look of Varun Tej has created a buzz among the audience.
Varun went through an intense training from the boxer Tony Jeffries who is an Olympic champion. Hollywood action choreographers were roped in by the makers for the crucial boxing sequences of the movie. The action sequels in Ghani are composed by Larnell Stovall who is known for his works in Avenger movies. Now, all eyes are on the actor to see how he pulls off the role of a boxer.
Special sets were made for the boxing episodes of the film. The filming process took place in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The music for the flick is composed by S. Thaman. The film is set to release on the big screen on November 4, 2021, on the day of Diwali.
Besides Varun, the movie will feature Upendra, Jagapathi Babu and Sunil Shetty in pivotal roles. Tamannah Bhatia will reportedly be doing a special dance number in the movie.
