Ghar Waapsi trailer: A family entertainer revolving around an average Indian household

The official trailer for Hotstar specials Ghar Waapsi was released today. The trailer features  Shekhar, who has lost his job in Bangalore and has returned to his hometown Indore to stay with his family. Shekhar's family members are quite proud of him as he is one of the three children who earns. But when his parents learn about the fact that he has lost his job, they are quite disappointed in him. Shekhar makes an effort to return to Bangalore and seek work.

Disney+ Hotstar's official account Hotstar also shared the trailer on their official Twitter account to let fans know about the upcoming series. They captioned it, ‘Ghar wala sukoon ya joblessness wala guilt? Ek aadmi ki ekdum relatable story. #HotstarSpecials #GharWaapsi streaming from July 22’ (sic)."

The six-episode series will include a cheerful family drama wherein a middle-class family of five gathers together to keep learning about each other's  lives, relationships, and aspirations . Vishal Vashishtha, Akanksha Thakur, Atul Srivastava, and Vibha Chibber feature play the pivotal characters in the show. Ruchir Arun, a two-time National Award-winning filmmaker and writer, has helmed Ghar Waapsi, while Tatsat Pandey and Bharat Misra have written the story.

According to Ruchir Pandey's comment to India Today, Ghar Waapsi is a fun, lighthearted tale of going back to one’s roots. He stated that at a time when many of us have moved to cities in pursuit of our career, revisiting our roots can not only provide the much-needed break, but also mental solace. bring us solace. The series will be laced with laughter and emotions. He added that the series will portray a happy existence amid uncertain conditions. Ruchir went on to express his appreciation for Disney+ Hotstar and Disc media for their efforts in bringing unique narratives to the audience.

The programme will premiere exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on July 22.
