Kajal Aggarwal is back with a bang. The Hey Sinamika actress had taken a short break from films post her pregnancy and the birth of her son Neil. The actress is now back with the horror comedy Ghosty, the teaser of which was released earlier this morning. In the teaser, Kajal is seen in a dual role - an actress and a police officer.

Going by the teaser, it seems like the character of the actress dies and her ghost hovers over the police officer character. Meanwhile, whoever comes in contact with the ghost gets into a weird predicament - they all start talking in children’s voices. Yogi Babu is seen narrating the tale to a child seated on a park bench. He states that even if he wants to do a serious horror film, producers tend to offer him only horror comedies. He adds that the film will be released in theatres first and only after that on OTT.

Audiences are excited to see the return of Kajal Aggarwal on the big screen and have been wishing the actress a great comeback. The film is written and directed by Kalyaan. Music for the film is by Sam CS, cinematography by Jacob Rathinaraj and editing by Vijay Velukutty. The supporting cast includes KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsley, Thangadurai, Jagan, Oorvasi, Sathyan, Adukalam Naren, Manobala, Motta Rajendran, Mayilsamy, Saminaathan, Devadarshini, Suresh Menon,Subbu Panchu Arunachalam , Livingston, Santhana Bharathi , Mathan Babu and Radikaa Sarathkumar. The film is expected to release in December.

In the meantime, Kajal has already begun work on Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2. The actress is said to have learnt martial arts for her character in the film. She had earlier shared a video of her riding a horse, and captioned it, "Eager and excited, I jumped back into work 4 months post-partum! Little did I realise that it would feel like starting from scratch. My body wasn’t the same as how it used to be. Pre baby, I could endure very long workdays with taxing amounts of physical activity AND then hit the gym (sic)."
