Priyamani is back to reprise her role as Anupama, aka the food vlogger, in the sequel of 2022 crime thriller Bhamakalapam. The first glimpse of the upcoming sequel Bhamakalapam 2 will be out soon! Streaming giant Aha has now announced that the first glimpse of the film will be out at 11am on January 18.
The streaming giant took to their social media handles to break the news with a caption that read “Double the MYSTERY, Double the THRILL, Double the ACTION!!! LOADED. Anupama aka #Priyamani is coming to unleash ‘A Delicious Heist Feast’ Glimpse of #Bhamakalapam2 On Jan 18th @ 11AM!”

The poster shared by Aha showcases Priyamani’s character standing with her arms stretched out in front of a huge blaze, while holding a wooden spatula in one hand. The scene is from a kitchen set, and Anupama appears fully ready to ‘serve a delicious feast filled with heist and mystery!’
About Bhamakalapam
In the OTT crime thriller Bhamakalapam, Priyamani played the lead role Anupama Mohan, who is a popular YouTube food vlogger, known for her keen interest in gossip. The storyline revolves around her getting entangled in a murder mystery, and how she relies on her wit to save herself from the hurdle. Directed by Abhimanyu, the film was released on Aha, but unfortunately, it received mixed reviews, despite praiseworthy performances from the entire cast.
Although the first installment failed to make a mark, the second part hints at a promising sequel. Priyamani, who has never failed to impress the audiences with her acting prowess, will definitely intrigue the audiences, as the poster does make us curious to learn what Anupama 'is ready to cook' for the fans!
Bhamakalapam 2 will also feature Seerat Kapoor, Brahmaji, and Sharanya in pivotal roles.
Deepak Yaragera is cranking the camera for Bhamakalapam 2, while Prashanth R Vihari scores the music. Viplav Nyshadham is the editor and Kiran Mamidi is the art director, respectively. Aswin Budaraju and Anurag Palutla are the dialogue writers. Shankar is the stunt director and Rajini is the costume designer for the film.
Priyamani’s latest outing with Mohanlal
Priyamani, who has been basking in the success of her latest Malayalam outing Neru alongside superstar Mohanlal, will also be seen in Maidaan opposite Ajay Devgn. Neru was directed by Jeethu Joseph and marked her second collaboration with Mohanlal after Grandmaster (2012).
