Whatever SS Rajamouli does is always special. The time has finally come for the big reveal of his new film Globetrotter featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The mega reveal will happen on November 15, 2025, and you can stream the event live on OTTplay Premium.

Until a few weeks ago, no one had a clue what Rajamouli was up to with his new film. Everyone thought that Rajamouli had hired an international PR agency to handle the announcements for his globetrotter, and that's why there has been a delay. 

But a source close to the unit has revealed to us that Rajamouli has hired no such team and has planned everything himself. The source goes on to add that holding the mega event in Hyderabad, revealing the glimpse on a 100-foot LED 4K screen, and having the event streamed on OTT, all these moves have been planned solely by Rajamouli and not any agency.

The news is also that a three-minute glimpse of the film will be revealed, and Rajamouli has already cut a solid teaser for the same. However, the only difference this time is that he has taken advice from Mahesh Babu. 

In the past, it was only Rajamouli who knew when the teaser would be out or how it would be designed. Even the top stars who worked with him had no clue and got to see it along with the general audience. 

But this time, Rajamouli has ensured that Mahesh gets involved in the teaser cut and the project’s announcements. If you observe closely, apart from the launch event date, all other news related to the film has come out randomly. 

The other day, a song sung by Shruti Haasan describing the film’s theme and backdrop was launched all of a sudden, shocking one and all. The source also reveals that Rajamouli had kept Mahesh Babu in the loop and had taken key advice about the film, which does not happen with any star with whom Rajamouli works with. So, Mahesh Babu has become a key member in the think tank of how Rajamouli goes about with the project. 

The source goes on to add that there are a lot more surprises coming our way on the launch day. To date, only Prithviraj Sukumaran’s look has been revealed, and next in line is Priyanka Chopra.
