Godzilla vs. Kong release date: When and where to watch the monster film

The monster film Godzilla vs. Kong is finally getting a release in India. The film which is the fourth instalment in Legendary's MonsterVerse will stream on Amazon Prime Video from August 14, 2021. Not only in English but Godzilla vs. Kong will also stream in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The hit film stars Millie Bobby Brown and Alexander Skarsgard in the lead roles. 

Whereas Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Lance Reddick, Kyle Chandler, and Demián Bichir feature in pivotal roles. Godzilla vs. Kong is directed by Adam Wingard and is a sequel to Kong: Skull Island (2017) and Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019).

Moreover, the monster flick is the 12th film in the King Kong franchise and the 36th film in the Godzilla franchise.

Talking about the plot of Godzilla vs. Kong, the film focuses on Kong and his protectors, who undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. They, however, unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe.

The epic film pits two of the greatest icons of the Monsterverse, Godzilla and Kong against each other with humanity caught in the balance.

In a statement, the director spoke about the film stating that it is a battle that hasn't been waged since 1962. He called it the most definitive version and the most satisfying version of these two monsters coming together.
