The Golden Globe Awards, which is considered Hollywood's biggest award party, has been scaled down this year. There was no red carpet and live broadcast this year. The organisers are accused of racism, sexism, bullying and corruption. The event was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Calif. The spike in the cases of COVID-19 cases was cited as the reason for conducting the private event. The names of the winners were announced on social media.
