On November 3, BTS' Jeon Jungkook finally graced us with his long-awaited album, 'Golden.' The youngest member of the group dropped his solo debut album along with the music video (MV) for the title track, 'Standing Next To You.' In this visually captivating video, the K-pop sensation pays a heartfelt tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, through his extraordinary dance moves.
Notably, the video features Jungkook donning devil wings, which fans recognized as a nod to BTS' iconic 'Blood Sweat and Tears' music video. The wings also bore a striking resemblance to 'Black Swan.
BTS's dedicated fan base known as ARMY, had been eagerly anticipating Jungkook's solo album, and upon its release, they took to various social media platforms to express their deep admiration for both the 'Standing Next To You' music video and the entire album.
However, amid them, there were also light-hearted speculations about the possible appearance of BTS' leader RM in the MV. However, it turned out to be an inside joke, as RM had previously shared a picture of himself with long hair on Instagram, and the actress in the MV also sported the same hairstyle.
'Golden' marks a significant milestone in the career of BTS' Jungkook as he finally unveils his debut solo album, a project he has diligently prepared for over the years. This highly anticipated album features a total of 11 tracks, with notable collaborations alongside renowned artists such as Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, DJ Snake, Major Lazer, and more.
