The Love Mocktail jodi of Milana Nagaraj and Darling Krishna is set to return to the silver screen with PC Shekar's Love Birds. What's been billed as a 'light-hearted romance story' that is set against the backdrop of the corporate culture of Bengaluru, the film will see Milana and Krishna in roles that are starkly contrasting to the ones in their previous successful venture.

The makers unveiled Milana Nagaraj's first look from the film with Golden Star Ganesh, Action Prince Dhruva Sarja and producer Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar doing the honours.

Milana Nagaraj will be seen playing the role of Pooja or 'Poooo' in the film and judging by the first look, it is apparent that her character boasts a chirpy 'girl-next-door' vibe. In her previous chat with OTTplay, Milana described her character as a 'strong, independent woman' who is her own person in the tough corporate world, adding that the audience will find many relatable traits about her personality. She also shared that unlike in the Love Mocktail films, the on-screen chemistry between her and Krishna's characters is more realistic with their romance and eventual relationship forming the crux of the story.

Earlier, director PC Shekar had roped in Ashika Ranganath to play the female lead in the film but she was soon replaced by Milana Nagaraj. The reasons, however, remain undivulged. Darling Krishna will be seen as a software engineer in Love Birds.

Not very long ago, it was reported that Samyukta Hornad would play a crucial role in the film. She will be essaying the role of an advocate named Maya, claimed the reports, who comes in as the catalyst to the lead pair's relationship.

Another highlight of Love Birds is Arjun Janya's music. The composer has previously worked with PC Shekar on successful soundtracks such as Romeo and Raaga, and with Love Birds belonging to the same genre of romance & comedy, one can expect the music to play a huge part. Reportedly, the film has seven tracks in total.
