Goliath is all set to return with its fourth and final season on Amazon Prime. The show revolves around a lawyer who takes up a case against a big corporation, which is played by Oscar award winning actor Billy Bob Thornton.
It’s been almost six years since Amazon Prime aired their hit legal drama, and now audiences are thrilled as their favourite show’s finale has been announced. The show has been airing since 2015, with the makers giving updates of new seasons every two years. The end of season 3 of Goliath had kept fans on edge, since the protagonist Billy McBride (Billy Bob Thornton) was shot and left bleeding. Fans are uncertain about his fate and are eager to watch it in the upcoming season.
This Wednesday, Amazon Prime announced that the finale season will premiere on the platform on September 24. Goliath also stars Tania Raymonde, Diana Hopper, Julie Brister, Bruce Dern, Brandon Scott, Jena Malone and J K Simmons. Billy Bob Thornton had won the Golden Globe Awards for the Best Actor in Television Series Drama 2017 for his role in Goliath.
Meanwhile, Billy Bob will be next seen in the film, The Gray Man, an action thriller based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney. The movie also stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans in pivotal roles, alongside Rege-Jean Page, Dhanush, Ana de Armas and Jessica Henwick. With a production budget of $200 million, the movie, which is expected to have a release on Netflix, is considered as the most expensive film in the history of the digital platform.
