Good Bad Ugly box office collection day 5: Ajith Kumar’s film on par with Dragon; to beat Pradeep Ranganathan’s film to become highest Tamil grosser in 2025 so far

Good Bad Ugly, the 2025 Tamil action drama starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, has enjoyed the long festive weekend, as the film has managed to break a few records at the box office. At present, with the five-day collection, Good Bad Ugly has minted Rs 100 crore at the domestic box office, making it zoom way past Ajith’s previous film Vidaamuyarchi.

Good Bad Ugly is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who had lavishly made an indulgent film being a hardcore Ajith Kumar fan. With the film filled with references and easter eggs of Ajith’s celebrated films like Vaalee, Amarkalam, Dheena and Mankatha and more, Good Bad Ugly has made a good use of the long weekend.

As per Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 101.30 crore at the domestic box office during the five days. As per other reports, the film has collected Rs 152 crore at the worldwide level, making the film on par in collection with Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dragon, which is the highest grosser in Tamil so far in 2025. With the film yet to complete its theatrical run, it is safe to say Good Bad Ugly will go on to earn more than Dragon in a few days, to become the highest grosser.

Good Bad Ugly on OTT

Good Bad Ugly’s OTT rights have been bagged by Netflix. The film will stream after its theatrical run. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the action drama also stars Trisha Krishnan, Usha Uthup, Rahul Dev, Kingsley, Roadies Raghu, Pradeep Kabra, Harry Josh, KGF Avinash, Yogi Babu, Prasanna, Prabhu, Priya Prakash, Simran, Tinnu Anand, Sayaji Shinde, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Arjun Das and others.

With music by GV Prakash Kumar, Good Bad Ugly opened to mixed reviews from audience and critics.
