Good Bad Ugly, the much-anticipated Tamil film starring Ajith Kumar in the lead role, is all set to have a grand release on April 10. The film is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, and marks the Tamil debut for Telugu production banner Mythri Movie Makers.
With the film releasing all over India and several countries, the makers have decided to start the FDFS timings across the country around the same time. So far, Tamil Nadu shows have been starting their films’ FDFS at 9 am, while the other south states have shows as early as 4 am. This will not be the case with Good Bad Ugly, which is expected to have FDFS start around the same time for all the states across country.

Speaking to OTTplay Y Ravi Shankar, who serves as producer at Mythri Movie Makers, said, “We will be starting shows for Good Bad Ugly along the same time as Tamil Nadu. This applies to Kerala, Karnataka and Telugu states, as well as northern belt. This is to avoid any sort of last-minute hurdles, and accidents due to early morning shows. We want to take precautions and adhere for the safety of the audience.”
Meanwhile, Tiruppur Subramanian who was part of Tamil Nadu Theater and Multiplex Owners Association president and a prominent figure in the theatre network in Tamil Nadu said to us that going forth, this will be the norm for all big films, especially in Tamil. “All shows will for big films henceforth, will start around the same time, around 8.30-9am. In this way, we will also curb the early reviews that come, which might affect the film if they are bad.”
With this, the only early shows that happen for Indian films will be abroad shows, where premieres take place in countries like the US.
Written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the film stars Ajith Kumar in the lead role.
