Ajith Kumar reunites with his Nerkonda Paarvai co-star Adhik Ravichandran, who has directed Good Bad Ugly. The film was released on Thursday, and much like what the trailer has promised, the film too did not forget to celebrate Ajith Kumar as an actor, with references pulled from his previous films like Vaalee and Dheena.

Good Bad Ugly is Ajith Kumar’s 63rd outing and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film reminds one of various characters and mannerisms of Ajith Kumar we have seen over the years on and offscreen, with Adhik being a fanboy, keeping easter eggs throughout the film. Mnay have enjoyed the throwback references, action sequences, the placement of yesteryear songs and special guest appearance. While netizens also state that there is "no logic" in the film, the star worshipping has kept them enough to be satisfied.

While that has been a common review among all those who watched it, here are some of the reviews posted online.

After the film completes its theatrical run, the film will be available on Netflix, which has bagged the post-theatrical rights for a fancy price. The film features Trisha, who is collaborating yet again with Ajith after Vidaamuyarchi, Mankatha and Yennai Arindhaal to name a few, along with Sunil, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Simran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Shine Tom Chacko, Jackie Shroff, Prabhu, Usha Uthup, Rahul Dev, Kingsley, Roadies Raghu, Yogi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Sayaji Shinde, and others. GV Prakash has scored the music.

In Good Bad Ugly, Ajith Kumar plays AK/Red Dragon, a gangster once upon a time, who is reformed only to be forced to return to his notorious ways after his son has been arrested under false charges and jailed.
