The streaming giant Netflix today rolled out a striking trailer for its anticipated film Good Grief and netizens are already wowed with the official introduction. The movie will be making its grand premiere in January, exactly a week later after having a limited theatrical run on December 29. The co-creator of Schitt’s Creek, Daniel Levy is making his directorial debut Netflix’s Good Grief.

The dramedy film, which marks Dan Levy’s debut as a feature film writer-director, revolves around Marc who is dealing with the grief of his husband Oliver. In the 2:44 minute trailer, we meet Dan Levy as a troubled widower, trying to navigate life without his beloved partner Oliver.
While he deals with the great loss, he is not bereaving alone, but his best friends Sophie and Thomas lend their unwavering support. “We built you a nest and we sat on you for a year, it’s time to hatch,” his best friend Sophie tells him.
Marc then embarks on a journey of emotional healing with his friends in Paris and uncovers the deepest secrets about his deceased partner.
