Good Luck Jerry release date: When and where to watch Janhvi Kapoor's black comedy crime film on OTT

Janhvi Kapoor starrer Good Luck Jerry is gearing up to have a world premiere on OTT soon. The Sidharth Sengupta directorial follows the tale of a lower-middle-class girl from Bihar who migrates to Punjab with her sister and mother and seeks a fine-paying job to get her mom treated as the latter is suffering from cancer. In order to earn a huge amount in less time, the protagonist takes up one of the most dangerous jobs and finds herself stuck in the world of drug dealers and gangsters.

Janhvi plays the titular role in this dark comedy film, while Deepak Dobriyal portrays the character of her lover living in her neighbourhood. Sushant Singh and Saurabh Sachdeva essaying the antagonist roles. 

Meanwhile, Mita Vashisht plays Janvi's mother alongside Neeraj Sood, Sahil Mehta, Sandeep Nayak, Jaswant Singh Dalal, Mohan Kamboj and Tashi Kalden, who all are also playing some of the important characters in Good Luck Jerry.

Written by Pankaj Matta, the forthcoming flick is adapted from the Nelson-directed Tamil language film Kolamaavu Kokila, which stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Saranya Ponvannan, Jacqueline, R. S. Shivaji, Hareesh Peradi, Charles Vinoth, Rajendran, Saravanan and Cheenu Mohan among others.

The makers of Good Luck Jerry have unveiled a few songs from the film, one of which is doing round among the movie-buffs. The hilarious and light-hearted track titled Mor Mor is crooned by Deedar Kaur, Gurlej Akhtar, Vivek Hariharan and Parag Chhabra, while it has been composed and penned by Parag Chhabra and Raj Shekhar respectively.

The upcoming film is backed by Subaskaran Allirajah, Aanand L. Rai and Mahaveer Jain under the banners of Lyca Productions, Colour Yellow Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films.

Good Luck Jerry is all set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29.
