Goodbye: First look of Amitabh Bachchan, Rashmika Mandanna and Neena Gupta-starrer promises a family entertainer

The first look poster of Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna’s Bollywood debut Goodbye was revealed recently through its cast members’ social media pages and the film promises to be a family entertainer.

The movie, which also has Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta as part of its cast, is touted to be a “heart-warming story” about life, family and relationships. Ekta Kapoor, whose production firm Balaji Motion Pictures, has backed the film, also shared the poster of the movie.

Apart from Rashmika, Amitabh and Neena, the movie also features Pavail Gulati, Elli AvrRam, Sunil Grover and Sahil Mehta in pivotal roles. The first poster of the film showed the family watching a game on the floors of their living room as Amitabh and Rashmika’s characters shared a bowl of popcorn.

Taran Adarsh, a film trade expert, also shared the image from the movie, which will be Rashmika’s first of the three Bollywood films that she is part of this year and announced that the film’s makers have locked the release date for the movie on October 7, 2022.

The poster received a favourable response from online users, who took to Twitter to share their enthusiasm. "Eagerly waiting.... #GoodBye," one user tweeted.

In the past, the behind-the-scenes footage from the movie had gone viral with Rashmika and Amitabh sharing some adorable moments. The Kannada actress also shared snaps of the cast and crew after wrapping up her portions in the movie.

While talking about Amitabh to India Today, Rashmika said she found the actor humble and professional. “Amitabh Bachchan sir.. I am so so glad and so so grateful I got to do this film with you.. you are the world's bestest man ever! (sic),” she had also tweeted, along with a photo of Big B.

The Pushpa fame actress will also be seen in Mission Majnu along with Sidharth Malhotra. The Shantanu Bagchi directorial has already wrapped up its shoot in Lucknow. Its release date is yet to be announced.
