Goodbye is a movie that Vikas Bahl wrote, directed, and produced under the names Good Co., Balaji Motion Pictures, and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Earlier, during an interaction with India Today, Rashmika revealed why she said yes to Goodbye. The actor said that she read the script in only one hour since it was so naturally flowing, and she called the production company right away to tell them she had to be in the movie. Rashmika had the impression that she couldn't let this go. If one merely wishes to be a part of this film, then it is over. Of course, when she discovered through all of her friends that it was being directed by Vikas Bahl, she was astounded, and Amitabh Bachchan's inclusion in the movie was the icing on the cake.
