The Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer Goodbye is set to hit the big screens on October 7, 2022. The writing and directing credits for the family comedy-drama go to Vikas Bahl. Neena Gupta also stars in Mandanna's Hindi film debut. Goodbye is produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and co-produced by Bahl and Viraj Savant under Good Co., Balaji Motion Pictures, and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Sunil Grover, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, and Shivin Narang play supporting roles.

After its theatrical run and hitting the big screens on October 7, Goodbye will be streaming on Netflix for its OTT premiere. In the film, the Bhalla family serves as a metaphor for self-discovery, the value of family, and the celebration of life under all circumstances during the course of Goodbye. It is a wonderful tale of an Indian family that transforms a dark time into a happy one and vows to stay close even after a loved one has moved away.

Earlier, while sharing her excitement about making her Bollywood debut with Bachchan, Mandanna had penned a heartfelt note on her social media pages. The actor still finds it hard to accept what is happening. She expressed her excitement about working on a movie with Big B, getting to speak with him, sharing a stage with him, discussing similar subjects with him, and getting a photo with him.

Mandanna called him an utterly outstanding performer. A jewel of a person who constantly disagrees with her as a reel father, but how she rejoices. The actor appreciates getting to work with Amitabh Bachchan in Goodbye. She said it has truly been a privilege, and this will always be very special.

Amit Trivedi has composed the music for Goodbye, while the lyrics for most of the songs are penned by Swanand Kirkire.
