Gopichand Malineni to team up with Ravi Teja for the fourth time, here's what we know

Veera Simha Reddy became Balakrishna's biggest hit of his career. Gopichand Malineni directed this film and was praised a lot for his directional skills. The way he brought back the faction genre to Telugu cinema and narrated the film in a sensible manner won good applause. Things went to the next level as none other than superstar Rajnikanth saw the film and appreciated Gopichand.

Well, the news now is that Gopichand Malineni will direct Ravi Teja for the fourth time in his career. Going into details, the ace director met Ravi Teja a few days back and narrated a story. The news is that Ravi Teja loved the script so much that he okayed the film in the first sitting. 

Gopichand had directed Ravi Teja for Don Seenu, Balupu, and Krack earlier in his career and all the films were smash hits. He has been in the industry for a long time and used to do films with mid-range heroes. But directing a big star like Balakrishna was a big task and Gopichand proved everyone wrong and made the film cross the 100-crore mark at the box office. 

He has now gone back to his favorite star Ravi Teja and is all set to repeat the success streak soon. On the other hand, Ravi Teja too needs a hit as his last film, Ravanasura bombed at the box office. He is now doing a film called Tiger Nageswara Rao which is a biopic of a thief of the same name in Andhra Pradesh. 

Once he wraps up this film, then he is likely to take up Gopichand Malineni's film. Mythri Movie Makers, who made Veera Simha Reddy with Gopichand will produce this film as well. Watch this space for more updates.
