Govinda has done several popular films in his remarkable career. But did you know some of his films were not released in theaters? In a new interview, his wife, Sunita Ahuja, opened up about politics in the industry and revealed that Govinda's 3 to 4 films did not release in cinemas due to industry politics.
In an interview with Times Now, Sunita Ahuja opened up about politics in the industry and how it did not let Govinda's 3 to 4 films release in theaters. She said that Govinda has indeed faced politics in the industry.
"When someone from a humble background tries to flourish, people can’t digest it. I know how several of Govinda’s 3 to 4 films were blocked from release. I won’t name names, but it's true, the industry can be very political. There were at least three to four films that never saw the light of day. He wasn’t given a proper platform or theatre support," she said.
