Govinda Naam Mera song Kyaa Baat Haii 2.0: Vicky Kaushal is absolutely besotted with an alluring Kiara Advani

Govinda Naam Mera’s soundtrack is proving to be quite a foot tapper indeed. Bijli’s thumping beats got fans grooving, while Bana Sharabi’s soulful music got them soothed. The makers are back with yet another song from the film’s soundtrack, titled Kyaa Baat Haii 2.0, a fiery Punjabi party song that will definitely make one itch to get on the dance floor.

The song gives a glimpse into just how besotten Vicky Kaushal’s Govinda Waghmare is with his girlfriend, played by Kiara Advani, which is evident from the very first scene in the song’s music video. Vicky seems to be a ‘kaidi’ in Kiara’s love, quite literally. The duo then start to set the dance floor on fire with a set of expertly choreographed moves which are skillfully in line with the thumping beats of the song. A vibrant aesthetic and the duo’s impeccable wardrobe add to the song’s allure.

Kyaa Baat Haii 2.0 is sung by Harrdy Sandhu and Nikhita Gandhi, and has lyrics penned by Jaani. The song was composed by B Praak and recreated by Tanishk Bagchi. The track marks the third song from the film’s soundtrack, after Bijli and Bana Sharabi.

Govinda Naam Mera follows the story of the titular protagonist, an aspiring choreographer who wishes to marry his girlfriend, and struggles to obtain a divorce from his bullying wife. The trio’s lives are further complicated by a shocking event.

In addition to Vicky and Kiara, the upcoming film also stars Bhumi Pednekar in a leading role. Sayaji Shinde, Dayanand Shetty, Amey Wagh and Renuka Shahane also feature in the film, written and directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film was bankrolled under the banners of Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions.

Govinda Naam Mera will be available to stream Disney+ Hotstar from December 16 onwards.
