Govinda Naam Mera trailer: Vicky Kaushal is stuck between Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani amid a murder case

Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani starrer Govinda Naam Mera is slated for direct-to-OTT release. Meanwhile, the trailer for this year’s biggest comedy thrillers is finally out. The Shashank Khaitan directorial is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions among others.

The latest trailer glimpses a few thrilling and fun sequences of the movie that sees Vicky's Govinda Waghmare unwillingly tangled in an unhappy marriage with Bhumi's Gauri while being in love with his girlfriend and choreographer partner, Suku, played by Kiara.

To get out of this marriage, the hero asks for a divorce from his wife and also tries to threaten her with a gun. Meanwhile, a murder takes place in his house that makes his life upside-down overnight and he finds himself stuck amid chaos.

The official synopsis of the movie reads, "The happy-go-lucky Govinda Waghmare finds himself caught between his bullying wife, an unhappy mother & a girlfriend who wants to marry him. It’s all fun and games until he discovers that he may end up losing his inheritance, the ancestral bungalow in which he lives."

The makers shared the latest trailer video on Dharma Productions' official Instagram handle with a quirky and fun caption that reads, "Kahaani ek, twists aur turns anek! Will Govinda be able to solve all his problems? A murder, some mystery, lots of thrill and masala guaranteed! #GovindaNaamMera TRAILER OUT NOW! #GovindaNaamMeraOnHotstar streaming from 16th December, only on Disney+ Hotstar! (Sic)."

Along with Karan's Dharma Productions, the upcoming movie is also produced by Ajit Andhare, Alex Anthony Fernandes, Hiroo Johar, Punit Kumar, Apoorva Mehta and Somesh Shivraj under Viacom18 Studios.

Govinda Naam Mera, which also has Renuka Shahane, Veenah Naair and Amy Aela, is all set to stream from December 16 on Disney+ Hotstar.
