Grammy Awards 2024 – When and where to watch the 66th annual edition of the show in India

The 2024 Grammy Awards mark the 66th annual edition of an award show that celebrates and appreciates the best in music. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2024, in Los Angeles at 8.30 pm EST. But the awards can be viewed in India on Monday, 7 am IST onward, due to the time difference.

Where to watch the 66th edition of the Grammy Awards in India?

The show will be hosted for the fourth consecutive time by South African actor-comedian Trevor Noah, who has also been nominated this year for his album I Wish You Would for Best Comedy Album. The Grammys 2024 will air live in the US on the CBS Television Network and stream online on Paramount+. Viewers in India can stream the ceremony live on live.GRAMMY.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel.

The surge of female representation at top of the music charts and its impact

This year, the Grammys have seen a massive surge in female representation at the top of the music charts, as well as record-breaking sales and concerts. For the top Grammy Prize, Album of the Year, John Batiste is the only male musical figure among the eight nominees for his World Music Radio.

The rest are The Record (Boygenius), Endless Summer Vacation (Miley Cyrus), Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd (Lana Del Rey), GUTS (Olivia Rodrigo), Midnights (Taylor Swift), SOS (SZA), and The Age of Pleasure (Janelle Monáe). The highest number of nominations are bagged by women as well.

SZA leads the race with an impressive nine nominations, while Phoebe Bridgers and Victoria Monet clock in at seven. As for the starry likes of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Brandy Clark, they have six nods each, along with the male artists John Batiste and Jack Antonoff.

The starry performers and presenters of the Grammys 2024

The Grammy Awards 2024 will see some impressive presenters this year, including the likes of Meryl Streep (who is herself nominated for best audio book, narration and storytelling recording for Big Tree), Oprah Winfrey, Lenny Kravitz, Samara Joy, Christina Aguilera, Mark Ronson, Lionel Richie, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Tomlinson, and Maluma.
