Elnaaz Norouzi is the first confirmed female cast of Grand Masti 4, which is the fourth installment of the Masti franchise. Elnaaz Norouzi has confirmed that she has joined Grand Masti 4. The actress shared in a media statement, "I’ve always loved the energy and madness that Masti brings. To be leading the fourth installment alongside such iconic actors is an absolute blast!" Although details of her character is still under the wraps, her character is touted to be 'full of surprises, witty, wild, and ready to stir up the perfect storm.' The actress is expected to play Riteish Deshmukh's lover in the movie.

Aftab Shivdasani had shared updates on Milap Zaveri-directed Masti 4 so far. The movie went on floors in December 2024, and the actor had confirmed the news by sharing a photo with the clapperboard that read Masti 4. He had shared a picture with Riteish Deshmukh to further confirm the news. In another photo, veteran actor Jeetendra was also seen with the cast of Grand Masti 4. The movie is bankrolled by Balaji Motion Pictures, which is run by his daughter Ekta Kapoor and actor-son Tusshar Kapoor. Back then, Vivek Oberoi had skipped the launch but teased the 'bromance,' while pointing out how it is 20 years since the original film released.
Masti, released in 2004, featured Amrita Rao, Genelia D'Souza and Tara Sharma. The second part, Grand Masti (2013) saw Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni and Manjari Fadnis (with Maryam Zakaria, Bruna Abdullah and Kainaat Arora as the second female leads). The third installment, Great Grand Masti (2016), featured Mishti, Pooja Bose and Shraddha Das in the lead roles (with Urvashi Rautela and Sonali Raut in pivotal roles).
