The popular medical drama Grey’s Anatomy is gearing up for its return with Season 20. The recently unveiled teaser by ABC gives major hints about the recurring characters and Ellen Pompeo’s new challenges and turmoil.

It is a visual treat for the long-running drama fans to get back their leading surgeon, Meredith Grey featured in the teaser video, after her role wanted to move to Boston, leaving behind the medical life of Seattle. Thus, hinting at her character’s sudden sidelining as a recurring character. But the newly-launched trailer has now left us wondering about the character's future.

The new season of the classic medical drama will premiere on the streaming platfrom Hulu from March 14 onwards.

Meredith Grey returns with a talented medical team

In the short 30-second video clip, we witness the medical hospital dealing with emergencies as the senior doctor Miranda Bailey calls out the medical interns. The plotline will continue its cliffhanger ending with the Season 19 interns returning as the cast members. The teaser shows the recurring cast of Simone Griffith, Mika Yasuda, and others in pivotal roles.

In the teaser, we see stressed interns Griffith and Adams continuing their serious conversation after their sexual encounter before Griffith’s wedding. Teddy is in critical condition in the OR room and other characters seem to tread forward in the first look.

Cast of Grey’s Anatomy's new season

Meg Marinis spearheads this medical drama. Chandra Wilson plays the senior doctor Dr Miranda Bailey, Alexis Floyd plays the medical intern Simone Griffith with other trainee doctors like Benson "Blue" Kwan, Jules Millin, Mika Yasuda, and Lucas Adams. The stellar cast consists of Ellen Pompeo, Harry Shum Jr.,  Adelaide Kane, Midori Francis, and Niko Terho. Chris Carmack and Camilla Luddington will also be marking their attendance to the hospital staff in the roles of Link and Jo and will delve into their romantic lives.

The drama juggles the professional and personal lives of interns and senior surgeons with friendship, career, and miracles on the go.

Grey’s Anatomy is gearing up to bring a fresh set of medical traumas and doctor’s miracles in the upcoming year.
