Kannada television’s Talking Star Srujan Lokesh’s latest film, GST (Ghosts in Trouble), marked his directorial debut. A horror comedy, the film was inspired by a dream that Srujan had, which he then developed for the screen. Srujan was in the lead, along with Rajani Bharadwaj, Niveditha Gowda, Ravishankar Gowda, Vinod Gobargala, Girija Lokesh, Sukruth Srujan Lokesh, Vinaya Prasad, Tabla Nani, Shobraj, Giri Shivanna, among others. Released in theatres on November 28, 2025, the film’s not yet made its way to streaming, but that could change shortly.
Srujan recently took to social media to reveal that GST will soon be headed to Amazon Prime Video. The actor-filmmaker, however, did not furnish a streaming date. The streamer has been erratic with Kannada cinema uploads in recent times. Dheekshith Shetty’s Bank of Bhagyalakshmi did not arrive on the date that the team had initially announced.
Aniissh Tejeshwar’s directorial Love OTP’s team had also posted on social media that the film would soon be on Prime Video, but is yet to be available for Indian audiences. The film was on the rental store for UK and US audiences earlier, and was promptly pirated.

GST, meanwhile, was like an extension of Srujan’s popular comedy talk show, Majaa Talkies, with a lot of characters and comedy set-ups, some of which landed, while others didn’t. The film revolved around his character Lucky, who despite the name, was not the harbinger of good news for his family. Lucky’s only solace was his mother, but when she dies, he figures there’s no point in a life without her.
His attempts to end his life, though, bring him in contact with a bunch of ghosts who have unfinished business, for which they need his help. Trouble is, most of their problems involve money, and the only way to get their hands on it is by looting a bank.
