Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 Box Office collection day 1: This MCU film is on way to become highest grossing in the franchise

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 released in theatres recently. The movie has been one of the most awaited MCU film in the recent times. This has taken the opening collection of the film to Rs. 7 crores on day one.

A report on Pinkvilla suggests that Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3 has earned Rs. 7 crores net on the opening day. None of the previous films from Guardians Of The Galaxy have earned as much in India.

The word of mouth for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is good. This does not come as a surprise since it is under the Marvel Universe.

However, MCU films have not worked well in the recent past. There has been no movie that has touched the mark of Avengers: Endgame and thus, audiences are usually left disappointed. With Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 though, the case is different. Although the film has received mixed reviews, the word-of-mouth is generally good. GOTG has a separate fanbase but is no Iron Man franchise. Thus, for its standards, the movie is doing great in India.

Whether this film trends as expected though, will determine where it will go from here. The movie is expected to work best in the first weekend. If the collections double in the second weekend, then Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is a hit.

The Marvel film released in theatres on May 5 alongside films like Afwaah and The Kerala Story. It is at par with the latter in terms of Box Office Collection, which is a great start.
