Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 Box Office collection day 3: This MCU film surpasses previous BO over opening weekend

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 has released in theatres only three days ago and the movie has broken its own record. The film is the best in the GOTG franchise, in terms of Box Office collection. The MCU film is also touted to be the best in its franchise.

The movie had a fair weekend. It earned Rs. 23 crores net, according to a report on Box Office India.

The film earned the best on Sunday, which does not come as a surprise. It saw an approximate rise of Rs. 2 crores from opening Friday.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 had minted Rs. 6.75 crores on its opening day. This was a rather good opening collection for the movie.

It minted Rs. 7.75 crores on Saturday and grew on Sunday by collecting Rs. 8.50 crores. This took the total net collections of the film to Rs. 23 crores.

The Box Office graph comes as no surprise for a Marvel film generally. However, the other Marvel movies like Avengers and Spiderman have seen immense growth. This puts Guardians of the Galaxy far below in the charts.

Dr. Strange has also been a huge hit but again, that was to unveil the mystery of his appearance in Spider-man, which had released a few months prior.

Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 has surpassed the collections of its own franchise films. The first installment had earned Rs. 11 crores and the second minted Rs. 16 crores lifetime. However, the third one earned Rs. 23 crores only over its first weekend.
