Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 Box Office collection week one: This MCU film closer to earning Rs 35 crores

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 has almost earned Rs. 35 crores at the Box Office in week one. The MCU film is the highest grossing in its franchise. The movie is coming close to beating John Wick: Chapter 4’s 50 days’ collection.

The movie earned Rs. 2.50 crores on Thursday, according to a report on Box Office India. It earned Rs. 34.85 crores net in its first week.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 earned Rs. 6.75 crores on day one. The film peaked over the weekends. It minted Rs. 7.75 crores on Saturday and Rs. 8.50 crores on Sunday.

This movie’s Box Office saw a drop since Monday. It earned Rs. 3.25 crores on Monday, Rs. 3 crores on Tuesday and Rs. 3.10 crores on Wednesday.

Coming to Marvel movies, Ant Man And The Wasp Quantumania had collected over 41 crore nett. Many other movies from the franchise have failed to stand up to the mark.

Fast X is slated to release next week. The movie is likely to beat all recent Hollywood movies’ collections.

Guardians of The Galaxy 3 has little competition even this week. The movie will compete with Vidyut Jammwal’s IB 71 and the even bigger competition is Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Love Again. However, since the Hollywood film hasn’t received rave reviews unlike the MCU film, Guardians of The Galaxy has a slight advantage even there.

Whether the weekends will bring a new ray of hope for this film and lead to its longer stay at the Box Office, remains to be seen. Given the current trends, there’s a likelihood of that happening.
