Guilty Minds, the most awaited legal drama, is currently the talk of the town. Shriya Pilgaonkar and Varun Mitra’s drama is making headlines for its unique concept as it counts down the days till its release. Shriya Pilgaonkar, who plays Kashaf Quaze, recently shared how she prepared for her role in the series.

She recalls the very first time the audition sequences for Guilty Minds were given to her, and she was immediately pulled to her character named Kashaf Quaze, the actress remarked. She felt as though she knew her, and she was eager to learn more about her character. She knew she'd be able to explore a wide range of emotions while playing her. Kashaf was portrayed in two ways: one was as a lawyer, and the other was as a businessman. However, for her, the first step was to construct an inner world for her, which she achieved with the help of Shefali, her director. Her director seemed to know Kashaf better than Kashaf herself. As a result, she was set out to create her instincts.

Kashaf is a very quiet person who doesn't convey herself easily when she is in her private life, but she is quite passionate otherwise, the actress added. She centres strictly on public litigations and takes on situations in which she strongly believes. Kashaf relies heavily on compassion. As a lawyer, she has a firm grasp of what is right or wrong in terms of ethics.

The actress revealed that she spoke to a lot of her friends who are attorneys because it was crucial for her to grasp their emotional approaches to the business, while discussing her preparation for her lawyer role. She also went to the Supreme Court a few times because she wanted to see how real and genuine various lawyers are. Finally, she believed that lawyers are also performers, so she decided that she needed to be genuine to Kashaf and bring that element out in court.
