With her bittersweet characters in two shows - Gullak Season 4 (Bittu Ki Mummy) and Panchayat Season 3 (Kranti Devi), Sunita Rajwar is currently making headlines for her acting prowess. Sunita Rajwar on her acting career

In a conversation with India Today, Sunita Rajwar recalls the time when she got to know about the option of studying acting at the National School of Drama. She said she never knew that you could earn a living out of performing.

She said, "Being in front of the camera was never a dream, I just wanted to act on stage. Also, there was no compulsion of getting 70 per cent marks, it was learning and performing. When I told my parents I wanted to go to NSD, they did not even ask me a single question. They have never stopped me from doing anything, and have always been my biggest support."

The actress who plays the irritating character of Bittu Ki Mummy also revealed that she never thought that she could be an actor in films or serials and this is why it took her long to pave her career in the right path as she didn't even know what was happening. "I never saw myself in this world. It was only after 'Panchayat' and 'Gullak' I managed to get good work. Being at the Cannes representing a film is yet to sink in, to be honest. It all still feels surreal and like a dream for me," she added.

Meanwhile, the fourth season of Gullak was recently released and it has been receiving an overwhelming response from the viewers. The show stars Jameel Khan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, and Harsh Mayar playing key roles. Created by The Viral Fever (TVF), it is directed by Shreyansh Pandey. The series is now available for streaming on SonyLIV and OTTplay Premium.
