Gulmohar is the upcoming family drama film starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore. The makers have dropped the official trailer of the movie which gives a glimpse of the members of a dysfunctional Indian family dealing with their ups and down.

The forthcoming family entertainer marks the comeback of the legendary actor Sharmila Tagore after over a decade. Ahead of the trailer video, the makers released a quirky promo of the film that sees the veteran diva with Bajpayee in a fun conversation.

The promo video begins with Tagore looking at her makeup in the mirror, while The Family Man star enters the room praising the Kashmir Ki Kali and saying, "Sharmila Ji, hello hello! How are you feeling coming back after 12 years," to which the diva replies, "After 12 years on Disney Plus Hotstar. I am feeling a little nervous."

Tagore's reply pleasantly surprises Bajpayee and he asks, "The Sharmila Tagore Ji is nervous? You know, your fan base is evergrowing and evergreen. You are Anupama. You are a legend. The OG Sharmila Tagore."

The veteran actor gets flattered and says, "I do not know about the legend, but in this film, I have played your mother's role. So I know a little bit about acting." Both of them laugh with each other before leaving for a shot.

The makers dropped the fun promo video with a special caption that reads, "Can’t wait to watch these two together #GulmoharOnHotstar streaming on the 3rd of March (sic)."

The official synopsis reads, "Gulmohar revolves around the multi-generation Batra family who are all set to move out of their 34-year-old family home - Gulmohar - and how this shift in their lives is a re-discovery of the bonds that have held them together as a family with personal secrets and insecurities."

The Rahul Chittella directorial, which also features Amol Palekar, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth and Utsavi Jha in significant roles, is all set to release on March 3 on Disney+ Hotstar.
