Gulmohar Trailer: Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore star in a dramatic tale of a dysfunctional Indian family

Manoj Bajpayee is back on OTT with his latest venture named Gulmohar. The family drama movie also marks the comeback of legendary Sharmila Tagore after over a decade. The makers have released the trailer of the upcoming film that sees the chronicles of a dysfunctional Indian family. 

The trailer begins with a huge family gathering in a gorgeous house. Bajpayee and Tagore's characters among other family members can be seen having fun at the party, while the latter announces that she needs to have an important conversation with the immediate family members. She further informs her family that she has bought a small house in Pendicherry and she is going to stay there from now on. 

Moving on, Bajpayee seems very chaotic and restless among his family members and especially his son. The trailer also gives a glimpse of how the relationship between father and son is complicated. The actor further complains about the miscommunication in his family and says, "Sometimes, I feel that no one knows anyone in this family. The ongoing spat takes the avatar of a huge fight in the family as soon as an old will comes out in front of everyone.

Furthermore, the trailer chronicles the dysfunctionality among the family members even after living with other for so long. 

The official synopsis reads, "The love of a family is truly unparalleled and incomparable. It is a bond that embraces us with open arms and holds us strong through life's ups and downs."

The actor shared the latest trailer video with a special caption on his official Instagram handle that reads, "Meri Batra family, aapko apne parivaar ke saath swagat karti hai. #GulmoharOnHotstar streaming from 3 March (sic)."

Directed by Rahul Chittella, the sentimental family drama also has Amol Palekar, Simran, Suraj Sharma, Kaveri Seth and Utsavi Jha in key roles.
