Gulshan Devaiah begins shooting for Janhvi Kapoor’s Ulajh

Readers may recall that just a few days back, Janhvi Kapoor had taken to social media and announced her upcoming project ‘Ulajh’. The film is touted as a stylised international thriller set in the intriguing world of IFS (Indian Foreign Services). The latest update on the film is that, the versatile actor Gulshan Devaiah has now begun shooting for the film.

Speaking about the film ‘Ulajh’, Gulshan Devaiah said in a media statement, “It’s been a good year for me so far and ‘Ulajh’ has a great cast put together and I’m really looking forward to filming this film with them. To say the least it’s a complicated part that I’m playing in this one."

The film ‘Ulajh’, which is being directed by the National Award winner Sudhanshu Saria and produced by Junglee Pictures, mirrors the journey of a young IFS officer. The role of the young IFS officer is being played by Janhvi Kapoor. The film showcases the ups and downs that Janhvi Kapoor’s character goes through in the film. Besides Janhvi Kapoor and Gulshan Devaiah, the film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, Rajendra Gupta and Jitendra Joshi in important roles.

Besides ‘Ulajh’, Gulshan Devaiah will also be seen in ‘Guns & Gulaab’, a comedy crime thriller which has been set in the nineties. Besides Gulshan Devaiah, the film also stars Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, and TJ Bhanu. Speaking of Gulshan Devaiah, who was last seen in films like ‘Dahaad’ and ‘8 AM Metro’, not many know that besides being a trained actor, he has also been trained in fashion.

In an earlier interview to OTTplay, Gulshan Devaiah had said that, he absolutely loves fabrics, colours, patterns, and everything about fashion. And that since he considered that as an exciting space, he expresses himself through fashion and the clothes that he wears.
