Gungun and Soujanya: What’s cooking between Trina Saha and Koushik Roy?

Bengali serial lovers still remember Gungun and Soujanya fondly from the serial Khorkuto. They remember Gungun's eccentricity and the Mukherjee Family's exasperation. Fans loved the chemistry between Gungun and Soujanya. The serial Khorkuto became immensely popular and ruled the TRP for months. Soujanya and Gungun’s jodi became a superhit. Koushik Roy and Trina Saha paired up once again after Khorkuto, in the serial Balijhor. That failed to create that impact. 

Balijhor ended abruptly and people did not see them together after that. Trina and Koushik recently posted an Instagram picture with him and Trina. That photo raised anticipation among the fans – are they preparing for Khorkuto 2? 

They posted the photo and wrote, “Babin-Gungun reunite for something interesting this Pujo.” Comments were flooded in the photo, but none of the actors answered anything. People did not see Koushik on television for a long time. Trina, however, is working full-on. Recently, she reportedly lost her cool at the shooting of Matangi – a web series. She allegedly walked out after a tiff with Sohini and her behaviour raised controversies. Later, she was dropped from the project of Camelia Productions. She recently finished Arindam Sil’s new film Iskanaer Bibi’s work. Trina and her husband actor Neel Bhattacharya recently started a clothing line. They will soon appear together on the big screen.
