Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Guns & Gulaabs season 2 is happening! Raj & DK all set for a bigger and bolder show

With the New Year right around the corner, Netflix has a surprise in store for its audience. The streaming site has announced the second season of Guns & Gulaabs, one of the most highly regarded series of the year.

For the uninitiated, the first season of Guns & Gulaabs - starring Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav and Gulshan Deviah, was released on August 18.

The second season of Guns & Gulaabs is expected to bring a stunning conclusion to the highly anticipated question 'Babu Tiger ne Gangaram ke kaan mein kya bola?'. What’s more? With the new season presently under development, the creative team of Raj and DK are already causing quite a stir in the OTT world!

In the first season of Guns & Gulaabs, the masterminds enthralled viewers with their gripping storyline. As fans of the show become more and more curious and excited, Raj & DK will be getting ready to take viewers back to the delectable world of Gulaabganj, where chaos from the 1990s collides with love, laughter, and craziness!

In keeping with the holiday mood, Netflix has released a music video for the song Dhoka, which showcases the return of Jugnu, Family Man Arjun, Paana Tipu, and the gang to Guns & Gulaabs.

Announcing the second season, the official Instagram handle of Netflix shared a video with the caption: "Khali haath nahi, Guns & Gulaabs ka naya season leke aaye hain 😎🔫🌹 #GunsAndGulaabs Season 2 is coming only on Netflix!"

"We've always believed that this wicked genre mash, 'Guns & Gulaabs' held tremendous potential to entertain," said filmmakers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK about Netflix's decision to renew Guns & Gulaabs for a second season. They added that they are thrilled about season 2 and are humbled by the love that season 1 has received.
