Today, Netflix released a teaser in anticipation of the trailer for Guns & Gulaabs, one of the most-anticipated shows of the year. On August 2, the trailer will premiere in Delhi. Raj and DK's wacky minds have concocted a gangster comedy unlike any other, complete with '90s music, kooky romantic leads, and unforgettable bad guys.
Guns & Gulaabs is a unique mash-up of genres that boasts a stellar ensemble including Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, T.J. Bhanu, and Gulshan Devaiah. Anything may happen in Gulaabganj, from the first kill to the first kiss: gangs run amok, a cartel heir hesitates to fire the first shot of his new life, a mechanic searches for love, and a cop fights to keep his secrets safe. This trailer release for the next Netflix series, which features the talents of Raj and DK, is not to be missed.
The outcasts of society served as inspiration for Guns & Gulaabs, a narrative of love and innocence amidst a criminal underworld. The show will be groundbreaking in its ability to seamlessly combine '90s-style romance and a crime thriller with lighthearted touches of comedy.
As Raj and DK put it while discussing the show and their partnership with Netflix, it has always been a pioneering service that produces consistently cutting-edge material. They are ecstatic to have them as a partner in their current endeavour. Their indie masterpiece, Cinema Bandi, premiered on Netflix to much acclaim last year. Their debut Netflix series, Guns & Gulaabs, has been a success, and they are excited to expand their team for future episodes. Raj and DK are especially psyched to release this twisted genre mashup because it has an all-star cast and crew from here.
Netflix India's Head of Series Tanya Bami said that they are happy to join with the finest creators, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., for a series as different as their creative voice, Guns and Gulaabs. The series combines their characteristic elements—romance, criminality, and hilarious banter—in a way that is sure to win over viewers in India and beyond.
On August 2, and only on that day, Netflix will open the gates to the holy region of Gulaabganj.
