In a recent interview with a Kannada news channel, Dulquer Salmaan spoke about an endearing incident that occurred in Mysuru a couple of years ago
Superstar actor Dulquer Salmaan has nothing but praise for his contemporary Yash, whose acquaintance he has apparently made over multiple social interactions. The King of Kotha actor was recently in Bengaluru (along with local boy Gulshan Devaiah) to promote his intriguing web series and spoke to Kannada media about a range of topics, including a small food-related anecdote involving none other than the Rocking Star.
Not very long ago, both Dulquer and Yash found themselves stationed in Mysuru at the same time for their respective shooting commitments. The former was shooting for Kurup whereas Yash was in the city for KGF 2 and when Rocky Bhai came to know that the Malayalam actor was staying only kilometres away from him, he treated the Dulquer and co. to some amazing food.
"He was so kind when he found out we were in Mysuru and said "let me send you food one day," and was very insistent. When I told him that on one particular day, we were wrapping up early, he sent so much food that I couldn't finish it, I invited my personal team after that and then everybody else joined. I think when you feed people well, it speaks of a really generous heart. And Yash is from Mysuru, so, the place is very close to him," said Dulquer Salmaan in a conversation with a Kannada news channel.
He would add that he has met Yash multiple times at social events and even describe him as a warm person who also is a 'cool dude'.
On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan's big OTT debut, Guns and Gulaabs, premiered on Netflix on August 18. The show, directed by the famous director duo Raj & DK, also stars Adarsh Gourav, Gulshan Devaiah, Raj Kumar Rao and several others with Dulquer playing an integral role in the crime-comedy caper set in the 1990s.
