Gupt Gyaan is one of the latest shorts of Amazon miniTV that is currently clicking amongst youngsters, for its genre of a meet-cute teen romantic story. But creating it was not an easy task. Saqib Pandor opened up recently to share what makes the Ashlesha Thakur and Vishesh Bansal starrer relatable and worth a watch.

In an official statement, director Saqib Pandor talked about gathering opinions from many of his friends to devise a relatable subject that will click with the audience. A phenomenon involving confusion and partial knowledge on a matter is something that happens not just in a small town but everywhere and that is very much common amongst teenagers. “I think it is relatable for everyone and watching this movie will definitely bring back fond memories,” said the director.

Saqib Pandor started out as an assistant director in a number of well-acclaimed movies and web series like Mochi, Sacred Games, Bombay Begums, Made in Heaven and Ugly.

Talking about Gupt Gyaan, it centres around young love and the emotional phase which we go through as teenagers - confusion, uncertainty, puberty and flings. It is the second movie as a part of the multi-film collaboration between the production house Sikhya Entertainment and Amazon MiniTV.

Sikhya Entertainment is one of the leading production houses in the film industry that has backed a number of critically acclaimed projects like That Girl in Yellow Boots, The Lunchbox and Masaan.
