ZEE5 has finally released the first trailer for its highly anticipated Haddi. In this gritty noir revenge drama, Akshat Ajay Sharma directs Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anurag Kashyap, with Ila Arun, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Saurabh Sachdeva, Shridhar Dubey, Rajesh Kumar, Vipin Sharma, and Saharsh Shukla playing supporting roles. On September 7, 2023, ZEE5 will debut the crime vengeance drama Haddi, a production of Zee Studios and Anandita Studios.
About Haddi:
Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays Haddi, a new transgender who relocates from Allahabad to Delhi to join a gang of transgenders and climbs to the top of the criminal food chain to exact revenge on a powerful gangster turned politician who wronged his family. The film is set against the backdrop of modern ruins in NCR, Gurgaon, and Noida. Written by Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla, Haddi is a dark and twisty revenge drama that deftly unveils the complex web of the capital city's criminal underworld.
Anurag Kashyap plays a pivotal role
Talking about the film, Anurag said in a statement that he is proud of Akshat and the hard work he has put in to make Haddi what it is. Akshat served as his assistant director (AD), and Anurag was fortunate enough to appear in his directorial debut. He also claimed that viewers have never seen anything like Haddi; he is racy, passionate, full of revenge and drama, dramatic, and completely unique. Nawaz has surpassed himself once again, and his admirers will adore him in this unrecognisable but touching role. Anurag can't wait for ZEE5 to debut Haddi, and he wishes the fans a wild journey with this crime vengeance drama.

Earlier, in a brief stint, Nawazuddin featured dressing up as a woman in a song in his last release, Tiku Weds Sheru, which premiered on Prime Video earlier this year.
