Hansika, who recently got married to entrepreneur Sohael Khaturiya, is back in Chennai. The actress, who addressed the media at the Chennai airport said that she was back in the city to resume work on Nangagopal's film. "We start shooting today and yes, I get to work. We will be shooting the entire month in Chennai. We have seven projects coming up this year and it's going to be very lucky."

Talking about being back in the city, Hansika said that it was like homecoming and she felt as if she was returning to her mother's house. The Maha actress also added that she was enjoying her married life and that there has been no major change in her after her wedding.

Hansika married Sohael in a high-profile wedding which was held at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur in December. The event was attended by her close family and friends. She later went on her honeymoon to Austria and Egypt. The actress has been posting pictures from her exotic honeymoon. In the meantime, her wedding is all set to be streamed on Disney + Hotstar. The show is titled Love Shaadi Drama and the hilarious promo was captioned “What is a shaadi without a little drama ? #HotstarSpecials #HansikasLoveShaadiDrama coming soon!” The series will document how a number of people came together to put together the grand affair.

On the work front, Hansika was last seen in UR Jameel's Maha. She has in her kitty the horror flick Guardian directed by Koogle Kuttappan director Sabari- Guru Saravanan. The film is produced by Vijay Chander, who had earlier made Hansika's Vaalu, in which she teamed up opposite Silambarasan. The actress will also be seen in Rowdy Baby, which is helmed by JM Saravanan, 105 Minutes, My name is Shruti, 105 Minutes and a film with director Kannan.
