Actor Teja Sajja and director Prasanth Varma are joining hands for Hanu-Man, their second collaboration after Zombie Reddy. The film is a superhero retelling of the backstory of the popular mythological character Hanuman. Written and directed by Prasanth, the film features Amritha Aiyer as the female lead while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar too plays a crucial role in the same. The film's shoot is nearing completion. Entering its 100th day of shoot earlier today, the film's team celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake at the shoot location.
The film demanded a lot out of its cast, crew over a year, physically and psychologically, primarily for the effort that superhero films demand, in terms of high intense action sequences, feats and staying true to the characterisation. It's important to note that Teja Sajja shot for Hanu-Man without any dupes. On one occasion, Teja was asked to be on ropes for 8 hours straight for many days, which he did it without any complaint.
Many in the team had to suffer injuries for a lot of scenes but they did them in the right spirit to ensure an unparalleled viewing experience for audiences. The film is bankrolled by K Niranjan Reddy under his production house Primeshow Entertainment without leaving any room for compromise. Chaitanya presents Hanu-Man, while Asrin Reddy is the executive producer. Dasaradhi Shivendra is the cinematographer while the film has four composers - Anudeep Dev, Hari Gowra, Jay Krish and Krishna Saurabh. Srinagendra Tangala is the production designer and Lanka Santhoshi is the costume designer.
