Telugu actor Teja Sajja’s upcoming superhero film, Hanu Man, is one of 2024’s most anticipated releases. Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker Prashanth Varma, the movie is set to release on January 12, 2023. In the latest development, the makers have announced the trailer release date of Hanu Man.
They took to social media to announce that the trailer of the upcoming superhero film will drop on December 19. The new update has created a buzz on the internet, with fans curious to have a sneak peek into the upcoming fantasy movie.
Hanu Man’s plot and crew
The story of Hanu Man is set in the backdrop of Anjanadri Hills, revolving around an adventurous youngster, played by Teja. Tamil actor Vinay Rai is playing the antagonist in this film, which is produced by K Niranjan Reddy, under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment and presented by Chaitanya. Shivendra is handling the camerawork, while the screenplay is penned by Prashanth himself. Music for the film is composed by Gowrahari, Anudeep Dev and Krishna Saurabh. Hanu Man will be released globally in various languages - including English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.

Speaking during a recent interview, Prasanth said that viewers were confused whether Hanu Man is a mythological film or is it set in the contemporary era. With every new promo, teaser and song, the team is introducing audiences to the film’s world. “It is a perfect festival film, and can be watched by crowds of all age groups - from 6 to 60. It has devotion, action, fun and is born out of a very interesting idea,” the filmmaker elaborated.
Teja Sajja starrer Hanu Man’s OTT rights sold already?
It was recently reported that ZEE5 has bagged the OTT rights of the film for ₹16 crore. Meanwhile, it was also said that producer Niranjan Reddy is expecting more money for his superhero film - apparently, over ₹20 crore.
