HanuMan's Teja Sajja’s next film to be an action adventure? We reveal all...

Teja Sajja shot into the spotlight with 2023's surprise Telugu hit, HanuMan. He has since been approached by several directors to play lead roles in their films. The latest about the actor is that he has been roped in to play the lead in an action-adventure film. Directed by cinematographer and director Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film will be bankrolled by the top production house, People Media Factory. 

During a recent media interaction, Teja revealed that he has begun shooting for the film, which he described as a "pure rush of adrenaline". “I am now shooting for an action-adventure film in which I get to do high-octane stunts. It (the film) is going to be a pure rush of adrenaline," he said.

Sharing more insights about the yet-to-be-titled project, the actor revealed that it is based on Indian history. “It has some Indian history but is set in the present,” the actor added.

Teja Sajja’s stardom after HanuMan’s success

Tejja Sajja, who became an overnight sensation after the hugely successful Telugu film HanuMan, has revealed that he is trying to be more responsible as an actor. This is why he has been very careful about signing new projects. “With the growth of pan-Indian films, the gap between regions has lessened and our films are being watched everywhere. This is why the subject of our films is very important,” Teja said in a recent interview.

Teja added that with the way things currently are, one can make a film in the South and it can be watched and critiqued by everyone around the world. “There is no point in signing back-to-back films. The films that I have signed now have great subjects and will cater to a wide range of audiences,” the HanuMan star added.

HanuMan's OTT release

Meanwhile, HanuMan, which continues to soar high at the box office, will soon end its glorious theatrical run. The makers of the film had earlier announced that the Prasanth Varma directorial superhero film will make its digital debut on ZEE5 on March 2.
