Ritesh Rana, the writer, director, who shot to fame with Mathu Vadhalara, is back with a madcap comedy Happy Birthday headlined by Lavanya Tripathi. The film also starring Naresh Agastya, Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore and Satya hits theatres on July 15. Happy Birthday is jointly produced by Clap Entertainment in collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers.
The makers of Happy Birthday have released character promos of most of its pivotal roles over the last few days. Earlier today, the team shared a glimpse of Lavanya Tripathi in the film. In a brief promo, the actress is introduced as a modern, beautiful girl with the nickname Happy 340. Lavanya is sassiness personified while holding a gun and dressed in golden attire.
“Her characterisation will be completely out of the box and funny at the same time,” the makers say. Kaala Bhairava scores the music for the film cinematographed by Suresh Sarangam. Narni Srinivas is the production designer and Teja R is the costume designer respectively. Shankar Uyyala has choreographed the action sequences.
Lavanya Tripathi’s last theatrical release was Chaavu Kaburu Challaga in 2021 where she was paired alongside Kartikeya Gummakonda. She is also set to make her digital debut with Puli Meka, a web series conceptualised and produced by Kona Venkat. Aadi Saikumar plays the male lead in the project, which is expected to release in the latter half of 2022.
